Chief Master Fidel Casco stands as a beacon of excellence in the martial arts world, holding an 8th Degree Black Belt and the esteemed title of ATA Chief Master. As the visionary founder of Legend Martial Arts in Windermere, Florida, he has cultivated a space not just for physical training but for developing the spirit of martial arts within his community.
Early Life and Rise to Mastery
Born in 1960 in Paraguay, South America, Chief Master Casco's journey into martial arts began at an early age, driven by a passion that would see him become a national and international champion multiple times. His quest for excellence brought him to the United States in 2001, where he solidified his status as a martial arts luminary by becoming a US citizen in 2011.
A Legacy of Leadership and Excellence
With certifications as an ATA Instructor and a Krav Maga/Self-Defense expert, he has not only excelled personally but has also dedicated himself to the tutelage of others. His journey through the ranks of ATA—from a 6th Degree Black Belt Master in 2008 to achieving the prestigious title of ATA Chief Master with an 8th Degree Black Belt in 2018—underscores a career marked by relentless perseverance, unwavering discipline, and consummate professionalism.
Under his guidance, Legend Martial Arts in Windermere has been recognized repeatedly as the “School of the Year,” a testament to his leadership and the high caliber of training provided. Similarly, Master Casco's prowess as an instructor has been acknowledged through numerous “Instructor of the Year” awards, further cementing his legacy in the martial arts domain.
A Family Rooted in Martial Arts
Beyond the dojo, Chief Master Casco is a dedicated family man, married to Estella Casco, a high school teacher in Paraguay, and a proud father to Belen Casco, a lawyer, and Enrique Casco, a computer science engineer. His children, also accomplished martial artists, reflect the depth of martial arts tradition in the Casco family, with Belen poised to test for her 5th Degree Black Belt and Enrique holding a 4th Degree Black Belt.
